What this covers
This policy explains what The Widow’s Son Tattoo Co. does with information you send us through this website. It does not cover the paperwork you fill in at the shop before a tattoo or a piercing, which is kept as our records require.
What we collect
- Anything you type into the quote form or the contact form — typically your name, email address, phone number, and what you have written about the piece you want.
- Any file you attach to a form, such as a reference or a photograph of an existing tattoo.
- Ordinary website analytics collected by our hosting platform, such as which pages were visited and roughly where in the world the visit came from.
What we do with it
We use it to answer you. That means reading what you sent, replying by email, text or phone, and booking you in if you decide to go ahead. If your message needs a particular artist, it goes to that artist.
We do not sell your information, rent it, or hand it to anyone for marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked a question.
Who else can see it
This site runs on a hosted website platform, and form submissions sit in that platform’s dashboard. Our email provider handles email. Those companies process the information on our behalf under their own terms. Beyond that, we share information only where the law requires it.
Reference images
Photographs you send with a quote request are used to answer that request. We do not publish them.
Photographs of finished work
The pictures on this site are of work done at the shop. If a photograph of your tattoo or piercing is on this site or on our social media and you would rather it were not, call us on 610-323-4626 and we will take it down.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as they are useful — a quote you might come back to, an appointment we might need to look up. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
Cookies
Our hosting platform sets cookies needed to make the site work and to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may behave differently if you do.
Children
This website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under thirteen through it.
